Speaking from WATER episode 6
Last Saturday episode six of Speaking from WATER, Sean Ruttkay had the opportunity to speak with India’s only professional surfer photographer Rammohan Paranjape aka RAM. In this conversation he described the history of surfing in the subcontinent along with where surf culture in India is today. He also divulges some of the regions best surf spots and how he approaches them aesthetically when shooting and surfing. As you probably know, at this time India it’s getting rocked extremely hard by COVID-19. Since our conversation almost a week ago things have gotten worse and he has had to step away from digital life which is why you will not find him on his Instagram handle @whoisram. But he did manage to send over some files to the new globalsurfgallery.com so be sure to check out his work and extensive bio on this platform. We hope you enjoy this educational session and we thank RAM four his generosity in time and knowledge in the creation of this podcast.
